MedWand is pleased to announce the BETA-3 release of our DECL for Android developers.

Beta-3 brings the final MedWand device Otoscope/Camera functionality to the DECL.

During this BETA release window, and up to a final Production release, developers are welcome to begin working with the Android native library and sample application. NOTE: You must have already been provided a MedWand Developer License to use this library.

The Android native library is not yet fully documented but developers who have begun using our .net libraries will find it straight forward and very similar to the .net documentation. MedWand will be releasing full documentation as we progress through the BETA release program. Full technical support will not be available until the BETA program ends and the Production release is published. Please contact your MedWand sales representative for additional details.

Attention: Unlike the .net DECL, the Android DECL BETA will be included within the test application during this BETA program. The production release Android DECL will be removed from the test/sample application and distributed on Maven. The sample application will remain on GitHub.

MedWand intends to release new a final Production Android DECL over the next 30-60 days. Please FOLLOW this article to receive updates and notifications when new versions of the Android Native BETA become available.
