Post-Training Reference Guide

Post-Training Reference Guide

Below is a reference guide for post-training for quick access to relevant help material:

Accessing Exams

Patients and facilitators should not open the MedWand app directly to begin an exam (except when using Training Mode). Instead, all exams are accessed via:

👉 mwkiosk.medwand.com using the Chrome browser on the device.

To streamline access, we recommend creating a home screen shortcut:
🔗 [Tablet Setup Guide]

➡️ Make sure users are trained to use the shortcut or browser, not the app itself.

MedWand Portal

👉 portal.medwand.com

  • Authorized users can use the portal to:
  • Manage users and assign access
  • Create and schedule appointments
  • Join Remote or escalated OnSite exams as a remote clinician
  • Review and download exam results

Exam Result Access

  • Completed results are stored under the Exam Results tab in the Kiosk portal.
  • Note: Results are automatically deleted after 30 days  download and save them as needed.
  • Results are downloadable as HTML files
  • Clinicians may export results to external systems (e.g., EHRs)

Exam Workflows

Patient Exam

Used when a patient conducts a self-exam independently.

Workflow Summary:

  • Facilitator visits mwkiosk.medwand.com and enters the code to start the exam
  • If escalation is needed, click Invite and communicate the code to the remote clinician
  • Remote clinician joins via the Provide Remote Exam Assistance button on the portal, or goes to mwkiosk.medwand.com and enters the code

⚠️ Important: The facilitator must keep the screen with the access code open while waiting for the remote clinician to join. If the screen is closed and Invite is selected again, a new code will be issued.
